Football Web Pages
About Us
Football Web Pages started life as a hobby-site back in 2001. The creator (Gary Ekins) was helping to run a site for Kingstonian FC and had written a few programs to ensure that they could easily publish up-to-date league tables, form guides, attendances, etc.
It soon became clear that people who ran other sites wanted a way of including such information on their own pages, but without the hassle of inputting all of the data. Football Web Pages was born, with the simple idea of collating results and then allowing other people to publish league tables and other information via javascript.
Over the years the site has been expanded several times. It was entirely restructured ready for the 2012/2013 season, primarily to boost reliability during the peak times such as Saturdays at 5pm. The site now boasts - for 37 divisions and many cup competitions - live scores, full fixtures and results, live league tables, latest news, appearance information and vidiprinters.
Prior to the 2018/2019 season the site was again re-designed, continuing to provide a fully-responsive service, providing an optimal viewing and interaction experience for all users, whatever device they are on. We also started to cover more European leagues and also Women's football, as well as making as much of our archive available as possible!
We have apps for both iOS and Android. We operate 330 different Twitter accounts, which publish all of the scores and news as soon as we receive them. We operate a live scores service, which allows non-league teams to publish full information of their matches.
Since 2019 we have hosted web sites for clubs, the first of which was for Kingstonian FC and the second for Tonbridge Angels. More club sites will be live soon.
If you have any questions about the site, please do contact us by email.
